Taylor & Shroff wines have been developed specifically and uniquely to accompany spicy foods.
Matching wine with curry and all hot and spicy foods has proven to be a tricky challenge in the past. The levels of acidity and tannins in most wines clash with the myriad of spices used in Asian cuisine, whilst the heat of the chillies overpowers any subtleties of standard table wines.
Taylor & Shroff wines have been made to be matched with curry and spicy foods. The five flavours in the range, white red, apricot, cherry and ginger, have been fortified to 17%. The higher alcohol and residual sugar levels not only complement Asian and spicy cuisines but enhance the overall dining experience by opening up the wonderful array of spices, as well as cooling down the heat.
The wines are at their best poured over ice in small measures, like a port wine, and enjoyed with any spicy food dish. The bigger the flavours of the wine, the more heat they can take!
